Yes! The Marathon was one of EZGO's most popular models, and aftermarket parts including high speed gears are still widely available. Our gear sets are manufactured specifically for Marathon specifications.
If your Marathon motor is original and 30+ years old, consider having it tested before installing high speed gears. A worn motor may not deliver the expected speed gains. Many Marathon owners upgrade the motor and gears together for best results.
For older Marathons with original components, we typically recommend the 8:1 or 10:1 ratio. These provide noticeable speed improvement without over-stressing aging motors and drivetrain components. The 6:1 ratio is best if you've already upgraded the motor.
