G-Series FAQ

Yes! The G-Series was extremely popular and aftermarket support remains strong. Our gear sets are manufactured to original specifications and readily available for all G-Series models.

For older G-Series carts (especially G2, G9, G14), we recommend the 8:1 or 10:1 ratio. These provide noticeable speed improvement without over-stressing older motors and drivetrain components. Only use 6:1 if you've already upgraded the motor.

No, the G-Series (G2-G22) use different differentials than the Drive/G29/Drive2 models. Make sure to select gears specifically designed for your model series.

If your motor is original and 20+ years old, consider having it tested first. Worn brushes or weak magnets limit the effectiveness of gear upgrades. Many owners upgrade motor and gears together for best results.
